Nigerian Fuji singer Remi Aluko has revealed that he once considered using supernatural means to boost his career, but a personal event made him change his mind, disclosing in a recent chat on Oyinmomo TV that during his struggling days as a Fuji artiste, someone took him to a traditional healer.
He said after he paid the man, he was instructed to return in three weeks to receive a charm specifically meant to be used on women, but within that waiting period, his wife gave birth to a baby girl. The ‘One Time’ singer explained that becoming a father to a daughter made him realise the potential consequences of his actions, as he feared that any harm he caused to others could eventually come back to hurt his own family, and he never went back to the fetish priest even though he had already paid him.

The singer said people often deceive themselves by spending money to promote themselves on the wrong side, and sometimes they do not know what to do at the right time. His revelation comes just weeks after another Fuji singer, Saheed Osupa, openly admitted to using juju to achieve success in the music industry.
