16 year old Ngozichukwu Victoria Okoro has clinched the British Council Top of the World award which acknowledges exceptional performance in a subject in the Cambridge exams.
Another 149 , our of a million Nigerian students also received the 2023 British Council recognition and outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards this year.
These awards recognize outstanding performance in Nigeria and are a different set of awards from the ‘Top in the World’ award giving to Ms Okoro, which acknowledges exceptional performance globally.

Speaking about the awards the Regional Director, Sub-Saharan Africa Cambridge Assessment International Education, Mr. Juan Visser, said Cambridge programmes and qualifications help learners reach their potential and instill a lifelong love of learning and passion for discovery.
