Manchester United are considering a summer bid for Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi, as they look to bolster their midfield options on a modest budget.
This is according to football transfer market analyst, Ben Jacobs.
The 28-year-old Ndidi has made over 300 appearances for Leicester City, helping them to an FA Cup triumph and most recently, promotion from the Championship.

With just a year left on his contract, he is understood to be available for around £9 million, following Leicester’s brief spell in the second tier.
United are said to be monitoring his situation closely, viewing the Super Eagles midfielder as a cost-effective option to add steel and experience—qualities lacking in Kobbie Mainoo and the ageing Casemiro.
Ndidi once earned praise from former United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy for his commanding display at Old Trafford.
