Ojokoro chairmanship hopeful Mobolaji Sanusi has accepted the outcome of the recently concluded All Progressives Congress, APC, Local Government primaries in Lagos, despite describing the official results as ‘outrageously concocted.’
The exercise, held at the APC Secretariat in Ikeja and supervised under Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission guidelines, is a statutory requirement ahead of the July 12 council elections across 20 Local Government Areas, LGAs, and 37 Local Council Development Areas, LCDAs.

Sanusi, who reportedly received only two votes to his opponent’s 21, insisted he was endorsed by 12 out of 18 LCDA leaders, including a prominent woman leader.
Nonetheless, he acknowledged the authority of the party and affirmed his commitment to its unity, stating that under the leadership of Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the APC’s decision must be respected above personal ambition.
He said he would stand by the decision of the party.
