Nigeria’s anti-narcotics agency has dismantled a suspected drug trafficking syndicate operated by a Lagos-based family, arresting businessman Ajah Johnson Uchenna, his wife Rosemary, and their daughters Stella and Ngozi.
A family associate, Okoro Elijah, was also detained in connection with what officials describe as a major illicit drug network.

The NDLEA said the arrests followed a series of operations, beginning with the initial capture of the couple by DSS operatives in Ojo, Lagos, on 13 June. Authorities seized 277.5kg of cannabis at the time.
Subsequent raids uncovered a further 231kg of the substance.
Separately, NDLEA operatives intercepted cocaine hidden in lipstick containers and property documents, destined for the UK and Saudi Arabia, at a courier firm in Lagos.
Investigations remain ongoing.
