Singer Niniola Apata has expressed deep grief over the death of her husband, Michael Ndika, saying she wishes she had died instead of him.
In posts on her Instagram story, the singer shared emotional reflections about her late husband, who died in May, describing him as the person who made her life meaningful and saying she “cannot live without Michael”.
She said she and her husband had lived a quiet life together and suggested that his death was painful because their relationship had been peaceful and supportive.
Niniola had earlier announced his passing on 20 May, with burial arrangements including a service of songs on 4 June and interment on 5 June.
