The Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) has suspended officials, players and supporters of Ahudiyanem FC indefinitely over alleged misconduct during their match against Right 2 Win FC. The decision was announced by the league body on Tuesday, 5 May 2026.
Those affected include Ahudiyanem FC players Anayo Chukwujekwu, Christopher Onu, and Emmanuel Ibeh, as well as the club’s head coach and team manager. They are accused of bringing the game into disrepute, with reports also citing threats against match officials during the incident.
The NLO said all those suspended have been barred from league activities pending a final ruling by its disciplinary committee. The club has also been fined 500,000 naira and directed to submit a written assurance guaranteeing the safety of match officials.

The league clarified that no points were awarded to Right 2 Win FC, adding that the match was not officially abandoned by referees despite the disruption.
