Students of the University of Ibadan are staging a peaceful protest over the shutdown of basic amenities on campus following the ongoing strike by the Non-Academic Staff Union.
The protest took place on Wednesday within the campus in Ibadan, as students demanded the restoration of essential services, including electricity and water, which are largely managed by non-academic staff.
The students say the disruption has caused significant hardship and affected academic activities. They are calling on the Federal Government to meet the demands of the striking union to end the industrial action.
