The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has announced a provisional post-tax profit of ₦1.05 trillion for May 2025—a 40% rise from April’s ₦748 billion.
Revenue rose marginally to ₦6 trillion, while statutory payments hit ₦5.58 trillion.
Crude oil and condensate production averaged 1.62 million barrels per day, with natural gas output at 7.35 million standard cubic feet daily.

NNPC clarified that the figures are unaudited and exclude output from independent operators.
