Victor Osimhen scored and set a new record as Galatasaray defeated Fenerbahçe 3-0 in a Turkish Super Lig derby at Rams Park on Sunday. The Nigerian striker opened the scoring just before half-time in his first start after a five-week injury layoff.
Osimhen controlled the ball with his chest before finishing to give Galatasaray the lead, although a second goal in the second half was ruled out for offside. Barış Alper Yılmaz and Lucas Torreira added further goals to seal the win.

The Super Eagles forward also set a league record for the most shots from inside the box in a single match this season, with eight attempts. He now has 20 goals and seven assists in 31 appearances across all competitions this season.
