Singer Peter Okoye has publicly accused his brothers, Paul and Jude, of orchestrating a smear campaign against him amid a simmering legal dispute.
In a series of posts on Instagram, the former P-Square member expressed outrage over claims by Jude’s lawyer in court, suggesting he lied in a statement submitted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission regarding royalties.
Peter alleged the accusations were part of a broader effort, led by his brothers’ publicist, to tarnish his image.

He vowed to abandon his previous stance of being, in his own words, the ‘bigger person’, insisting he would no longer remain silent.
Citing the late singer Mohbad’s experience, Peter said he now understands the importance of self-defence in public life.
He further claimed that the widely celebrated 2021 P-Square reunion was manipulated, promising to reveal more details at the appropriate time as legal proceedings continue.
