Peter Okoye Changes Birthday Amid Ongoing Rift With Twin Brother Paul

Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P of the defunct music duo P-Square, has announced a change to his date of birth amid an ongoing rift with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

In a post on X, Mr P stated that he will now celebrate his birthday on November 30 instead of November 18. He also said he will not be accepting messages or gifts on the original date, describing the change as a personal decision and asking fans for understanding.

The announcement comes against the backdrop of a prolonged family dispute. In June 2025, Mr P publicly declared that he had severed ties with his brothers, accusing them of betrayal and financial misconduct, including allegations involving about 1 million dollars and 34,537 pounds.

In earlier court proceedings, Mr P also told investigators linked to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission that Jude Okoye’s company, Northside Music, was largely owned by Jude’s wife, Ifeoma. He alleged irregularities in royalty payments and said multiple bank accounts were uncovered during investigations.
