Christians in Plateau State on Monday staged a peace walk to protest the rising wave of killings in the state and honour victims of recent attacks.
Organised by the Church Denominational Leaders Forum and the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Plateau chapter, the walk saw men, women, and youths march through the streets with banners calling for peace and justice.

The demonstration follows fresh attacks on communities in Bokkos and Bassa local government areas, where over 100 people were reportedly killed in April.
Church leaders say the protest is a cry for urgent action, with inscriptions on banners reading: “Stop the killings,” “Every life matters,” and “Let Plateau live.”
