President Tinubu orders security forces to hunt down perpetrators of Kaduna killings

Tinubu Directs Appointees Seeking Office To Resign

President Bola Tinubu has directed Nigeria’s security agencies to hunt down those behind the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where at least 30 people were reportedly killed. The President condemned the killings, describing them as a “senseless act of terror,” and extended his condolences to the victims’ families and the people of Kaduna State.

In a statement issued by the Presidency, Tinubu ordered the Armed Forces, the Police and intelligence agencies to intensify operations, track down the attackers and restore normalcy to the affected community. He also assured residents that the government would not relent until those responsible are brought to justice.

The attack, which also left homes destroyed, has renewed concerns over insecurity in parts of north-west Nigeria. Authorities are continuing investigations, while security forces have stepped up efforts to prevent further attacks and reassure affected communities.
