Israeli forces have killed at least 59 Palestinians in the latest wave of violence across Gaza, including 17 reportedly shot while trying to collect food near aid distribution points run by the US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, GHF. This is according to Gaza’s health ministry.
Middle East media, Al Jazeera, reports that sniper fire near the contested Netzarim Corridor left several dead and dozens wounded. Similar scenes were reported in Rafah and Beit Lahiya, where airstrikes and gunfire targeted desperate civilians.

With food supplies critically low and famine looming, thousands continue to risk their lives at GHF sites, which some Palestinians now describe as ‘execution zones’. The Gaza Health Ministry claims over 270 civilians have died near these aid centres since GHF began operations.
Israel has yet to comment on the latest incidents. The military had previously admitted to firing on aid seekers, citing security concerns.
Aid groups and medics warn of a deepening humanitarian catastrophe.
