Music artist Skales has revealed he was once compelled to perform his hit songs ‘Shake Body’ and ‘Emergency’ while locked in a police cell.
In a widely circulated interview with Zikoko Media, the singer recounted being detained after his former manager fell out with an unnamed billionaire who allegedly orchestrated their arrest. Skales claimed he chose not to abandon his manager, which led to his own detention.

While in custody, he said fellow inmates demanded live performances in exchange for a better sleeping spot. The musician also alleged that one inmate offered to eliminate the billionaire in question—an offer he refused.
Skales described the incident as traumatic, stating that he was placed in a cell while writing his statement at the police station.
