Nigerian TikTok personality Habeeb Peller Hamzat has proposed to his longtime partner, Amadou Elizabeth, better known to fans as Jarvis or Jadrolita, in a video that has since gone viral. The video shows Peller getting down on one knee and presenting an engagement ring to Jarvis in front of friends and guests at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, with her accepting the proposal.
Whether the proposal was authentic or a staged skit remains unknown. Both rising stars in the digital content space have amassed significant online followings thanks to their entertaining videos and open displays of affection, and their relationship has become one of the most widely discussed among young Nigerians.
Several months ago, following a breakup with Jarvis, Peller had vowed never to date or marry a Nigerian woman again. Jarvis also confirmed the end of their romance, responding to questions raised after a controversial incident in which Peller deliberately crashed his car during a live stream. She explained at the time that Peller had pushed for secrecy in order to protect their privacy, but that approach ended up causing more problems.

The viral proposal video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with fans and followers congratulating the couple while others speculated whether the engagement was genuine or a publicity stunt. Neither Peller nor Jarvis has issued a statement clarifying the authenticity of the proposal.
