Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has appealed to Nigerians for financial assistance as she battles an undisclosed illness. The actress, who has been hospitalised for the past three weeks, says she urgently needs three life-saving surgeries costing a total of 30 million naira.
In an emotional video shared on her Instagram page, Nwosu pleaded with fans, family and colleagues not to abandon her, saying the cost of treatment has become overwhelming.
She urged well-wishers willing to support her to contact her management team for donation details.
This is not the first time the actress has sought public support for medical treatment, having received assistance in 2012 for kidney and heart-related health challenges.
