The United Nations General Assembly, UNGA, has adopted a resolution demanding that Israel entirely pull out of ‘occupied Palestinian territory’ within 12 months.

In the resolution passed on Wednesday, UNGA told Israel to [QUOTE] end without delay its unlawful presence [END QUOTE] in the territories, including a withdrawal of soldiers and civilians.

The resolution, which is non binding, passed with 124 votes in favour, 14 against, and 43 abstentions, added to the growing international pressure to address the long-standing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Israel, the United States, and Argentina were among countries who opposed, while many European nations abstained, including Ukraine, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, as well as Canada and Australia.
