Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned as terrorism a Russian drone attack on a passenger train in Ukraine’s north eastern Kharkiv region, which local officials say killed at least four people. Zelensky said the train was carrying more than 200 passengers and that four others were missing after the strike on Tuesday. Russia has not commented on the incident.
Ukraine’s emergency services said at least one carriage was set ablaze after the attack. Kharkiv’s regional prosecutor’s office said the train was struck near the village of Yazykove, with one drone hitting a carriage directly and two others exploding close by.
