APC Fixes April 25 for Sale of 2027 Nomination Forms

The All Progressives Congress has announced that the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 general elections will begin on April 25. The ruling party released its timetable and schedule of activities, setting the cost of nomination forms for presidential aspirants at seventy million naira and expression of interest forms at thirty million naira.

Deputy National Publicity Secretary Durosinmi Meseko disclosed this after the 186th meeting of the party’s National Working Committee, noting that the timetable has been forwarded to the Independent National Electoral Commission. He said the sale of forms will close on May 2, while submission of completed forms is expected by May 4. Screening for governorship and legislative aspirants is scheduled for May 6 to May 8, with presidential screening set for May 9.

According to the schedule, primaries for the House of Representatives will hold on May 15, followed by Senate primaries on May 18 and State Assembly on May 20. Governorship primaries are slated for May 21, while the presidential primary election will take place on May 23.
