Lagos intensifies monitoring of 80 revenue-generating agencies

Lagos Targets Economic Growth With ₦4.444 Trillion Budget

The Lagos State Government says it has intensified oversight and performance monitoring across parastatals and government-owned agencies to improve revenue generation and strengthen accountability.

The Permanent Secretary of the Parastatals Monitoring Office, Olugbemiga Aina, disclosed this during the 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing in Alausa on Thursday. He said the reforms are aligned with the administration’s T.H.E.M.E.S+ agenda and aimed at improving governance and public service delivery.

Aina said the government is currently monitoring 80 revenue-generating agencies through the Parastatals Revenue Generating Meeting platform, which was established to identify revenue leakages and improve collection systems across the state.
