Air Peace has confirmed it will resume full flight operations from Friday, 25 April 2025, following the suspension of industrial action by staff of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMet, and allied aviation unions.
The strike, which disrupted air travel across the country, stemmed from longstanding grievances over working conditions. Passengers were left stranded at major airports earlier in the week as services ground to a halt.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Air Peace’s Head of Corporate Communications, Ejike Ndiulo, welcomed what he described as the firm and timely intervention of the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, whose engagement with union leaders in Abuja brought an end to the dispute.
The resolution is expected to stabilise operations across the sector, with airlines and airport services returning to normal schedules.
