The Director-General of the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies, Mr. Issa Aremu, has praised the appointment of Mr Nuhu Ribadu, as National Security Adviser, NSA.
He says it has renewed hope in Nigerians that the security sector reform initiated by former President Muhammadu Buhari will be further deepened.
Mr Aremu who was speaking on the sidelines of the 2023 Ilorin Emirate Durbar in Kwara, congratulated Mr Ribadu on the appointment, noting that based on experience and capacity, he is eminently qualified for the job.
He said Mr Ribadu was sufficiently exposed to the tasks of building a better Nigeria, and is also politically tested enough to know what is at stake is renewed hope for secured lives and properties for Nigeria and Nigerians.
He also said in democracy, there is the need for a permanent sense of ownership by the citizens through constant support for elected leaders in legitimate anticipation of reciprocal good governance.
In his opinion, President Tinubu has so far appointed among the best for Nigeria that must be supported.
