At Least 180 Arrested In France After Protests Over The Killing Of Teen By Police Officer

At least 180 persons have been arrested and 170 police officers injured in France following a Protest that broke out over the killing of a teenager by a police officer.

The 17 year old teenager who is of North African descent was killed by a police officer during a traffic stop in the French city of Nanterre on Tuesday

According to France’s Interior Minister, Gerald Darmanin the arrest wasn’t about small protests. It was about a small group of people deciding to attack the symbols of the republic.

The Protest has gone on for over two days now.
