Dalori, the deputy national chairman, was immediately confirmed to take over in an acting capacity, in line with the party’s constitution.
In his first remarks, Dalori pledged to lead with transparency and unity, stressing that the role was a responsibility, not a personal triumph.
He reiterated the APC’s support for President Bola Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda, urging members to begin early preparations for the 2027 elections.
