Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will face defending champions Senegal in the quarter-finals of the TotalEnergies CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Senegal booked their place with a narrow 2-0 win over DR Congo, courtesy of second-half goals from Cheikh Thiam and Ibrahima Dieng. The result saw the Young Teranga Lions finish second in Group C on goal difference, behind Ghana, who beat Central African Republic 1-0 to top the group.

Nigeria secured second spot in Group B after a 2-2 draw with Kenya, finishing with five points.
Monday’s quarter-final tie, scheduled for May 12, is expected to be one of the tournament’s most closely watched fixtures, as Nigeria take on a Senegalese side determined to defend their crown.
Both nations are considered strong contenders for the title.
