Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has called on residents to vote en masse for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming July 12 local government elections.
Speaking through his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, at a party rally in Ijanikin, the governor assured Lagosians that APC chairmanship and councillorship candidates, if elected, would deliver on their mandates.
Governor Sanwo-Olu criticised the opposition, describing the Peoples Democratic Party’s presence in Lagos as ‘torn or burnt,’ while urging APC supporters to intensify house-to-house campaigns to boost voter turnout.

Party chairman Cornelius Ojelabi appealed to residents to reward the APC’s track record in governance with their votes.
Campaign Council Chair Babatunde Balogun called for unity among aspirants, urging grassroots mobilisation to ensure electoral victory.
The APC is seeking to maintain its dominance at the local level across all 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs in Lagos.
