The House of Representatives will host the second National Assembly Open Week from Tuesday, 8 July to Thursday, 10 July 2025, highlighting its ongoing commitment to transparency, civic engagement, and legislative accountability.
Timed at the mid-point of the 10th Assembly, the event aims to deepen public trust and showcase progress on oversight and reform. Highlights will include a keynote by Speaker Abbas Tajudeen and remarks from Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The House will also unveil its Legislative Scorecard, capturing its achievements over the past two years.
Themed sessions will focus on agriculture, women’s inclusion, economic reform, youth engagement, and the role of traditional rulers. Vice President Kashim Shettima is expected to address the session on food security.
The event welcomes participants from across civil society, professional groups, and traditional institutions.
