The House of Representatives has announced it is reviewing 86 constitutional amendment bills, covering key national issues from electoral reforms to state creation.
Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, who also chairs the Constitution Review Committee, urged Nigerians to participate in zonal public hearings and engage with a newly released compendium of the proposals.
He said the bills—sponsored by members across party lines—aim to tackle critical developmental and governance challenges.

Public input, he stressed, is vital to shaping a more inclusive and effective constitution.
