Released on 14 May 2016, ‘New Era’ featured popular tracks such as ‘Woju,’ ‘Laye,’ and ‘Mama,’ which were instrumental in establishing Kizz Daniel’s place in the Nigerian music industry. The singer parted ways with G-Worldwide in 2017, citing contractual disputes, and subsequently changed his stage name in 2018 as part of the legal battles.
In 2023, Kizz Daniel appointed Emperor Geezy, the founder of G-Worldwide, as Chief Executive Officer of his record label Flyboy I.N.C., suggesting a reconciliation between the two. The return of his master recordings marks a significant milestone in Kizz Daniel’s music career.
