Nigerian hip-hop artist Odumodublvck has publicly rebuked fellow rapper Blaqbonez for calling himself the best rapper in Nigeria, calling the claim disrespectful to the country’s rap pioneers.
In an interview monitored by Radio Now’s Newsdesk, the outspoken rapper questioned Blaqbonez’s credentials, noting his absence from key award nominations. He argued that legendary acts such as M.I, Vector, Modenine, Phyno, and Olamide had earned their status through proven legacies.

The clash follows a recent diss from Blaqbonez in his track ‘Who’s Really Rapping’, which reignited tensions between the two.
Odumodublvck warned that inflating one’s place in the genre misleads fans and dishonours those who paved the way.
The row has sparked renewed debate over hierarchy and credibility in Nigeria’s evolving rap scene.
