Israel is facing mounting international pressure following a renewed military offensive in Gaza that has left hundreds dead in recent days.
The leaders of the UK, France, and Canada have warned of potential “concrete actions”, including targeted sanctions, if Israel fails to halt its operations and continues to restrict humanitarian aid into the enclave.

The latest ground assault was launched over the weekend, shortly after US President Donald Trump departed the region without securing a ceasefire or hostage agreement. Israeli forces have since moved into both northern and southern Gaza, following days of intense aerial bombardments.
Health authorities in Gaza say entire families have been wiped out. Meanwhile, under growing diplomatic pressure, Israel has agreed to permit limited food supplies into the territory. Five trucks were allowed entry on Monday, but UN aid chief Tom Fletcher described the delivery as “a drop in the ocean.”
