Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika has completed a permanent move from Belgian champions Club Brugge to German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 25-year-old signed a five-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 2031. Reports say the transfer is worth up to 10 million euros, including performance-related bonuses.
Frankfurt had monitored the Nigerian international for several transfer windows before securing the deal, despite late interest from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad. Club Brugge will retain a five per cent sell-on clause as part of the agreement.
Onyedika joins Frankfurt after a successful spell in Belgium, where he won domestic league and cup honours and established himself as a regular for the Super Eagles. He is expected to strengthen Frankfurt’s midfield ahead of the new Bundesliga season.
