Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has reportedly failed in his bid to lure Victor Osimhen to Turin this summer. Giuntoli, who brought the Nigerian striker to Napoli during his tenure there, had hoped to reunite with him at Juventus, banking on their past relationship and ties with Osimhen’s representatives.
Despite initial indications that the forward might be open to a switch—even with his Napoli background—Osimhen is now understood to have rejected the approach, dealing a blow to Giuntoli’s summer transfer plans.
