Nigerian business titan and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, was buried on Tuesday at Baqiyya Cemetery in Madina, Saudi Arabia, in a solemn ceremony attended by dignitaries and mourners from across Nigeria.
Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf and Jigawa’s Umar Namadi led a high-powered delegation, joined by Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II and other top officials. In a rare gesture, Saudi authorities permitted the governors and Emir to offer a final prayer beside the body—a tribute described as befitting Dantata’s stature.
