Five Nigerian athletes have qualified for the 400 metres semi-finals at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games after strong performances in the opening rounds of the event.
In the men’s category, Edidiong Udo led Nigeria’s qualifiers, winning Heat One in 45.73 seconds to book his place in the next round. Other Nigerian athletes also secured qualification in their respective heats as Team Nigeria continued its athletics campaign in Glasgow.
