The Oyo State Judicial Commission of Enquiry investigating the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area has invited members of the public to submit evidence to support its work.
The commission is seeking written memoranda containing facts, documents and recommendations on the May 15 kidnapping in the Esinele and Yawota communities.
It says the information will help establish the circumstances surrounding the incident, assess the response of security agencies and other authorities, and recommend measures to prevent similar attacks.
The commission has asked contributors to include their contact details and any supporting materials, with submissions due by August 14.
Governor Seyi Makinde inaugurated the panel on July 31 after the victims were rescued, saying the inquiry would identify lessons from the incident and strengthen security for schools and vulnerable communities.
